Susan Riley
Susan Riley serves as Director of Marketing & Community Relations at Hough Ear Institute, where she leads marketing strategy, community engagement, and development initiatives that advance hearing research and outreach programs.
She built her early career in music and theatre, studying at Oklahoma City University and the University of Central Oklahoma before expanding her professional focus into communications and nonprofit leadership. She later earned her degree in Communications from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, and a Master’s in Nonprofit Fundraising and Leadership from Oklahoma City University.
Her foundation in the arts informs her approach to storytelling and strategy, helping translate complex science into messages that resonate with donors, partners, and the broader community.
She believes research breakthroughs deserve standing ovations.
